YouTube Users are reporting over Multiple Social Media platform about the weird issue they are noticing since last few weeks , which appears to be yet another major crackdown by the “YouTube” . Several users have reported about the missing “Comments” and “Video Description” which got disappeared.
Many users reported the issue via Reddit and other Platforms that all the videos they are watching have missing video discription and videos comments are turned off. Users found this weird situation on every video they are watching since last few weeks.
On Several Occasions, YouTube has turned off comments for some videos and channels as well. But this time it seems different, since multiple channels have been impacted by the Move .
While YouTube has Officially not Commented anything about the issue, tech geeks are spectating that this could be the yet another major crackdown by YouTube on Ad-Blockers. Since YouTube and it’s Content Creators revenue is directly linked through Advertisements , that could be the major reason behind the steps taken.
The issue was first highlighted by the “Piunika Web” and since gained traction among the users over multiple platforms .
Since Comments over videos are major source of engagement for the content creators with their audience , taking feedback from them as the audience disscus over the videos in the comments section. Disabling Comments section could change the users viewing experience.
While it’s not clear , is this the possibile major intentional crackdown by the authority or a technical glitch in Ad Blocker settings. As we have witnessed last year , YouTube has applied some changes over it’s Ad-Blocker settings which triggered mass drop in the users engagement in the YouTube Studio application.
The setting applied led towards failed YouTube page loading along with its elements. Which resulted towards sharp drop in YouTube Analytics due to users views failed to register accurately.
Surprisingly, this time YouTube Premium subscribers also got affected. With previous Ad Blocking measures, YouTube spared it’s Premium users , but this time they also got caught in the loop.
