New Year Celebrations turned Nightmare for People celebrating New Year’s Eve when the Swiss Ski Resort is rocked by a Massive fire followed by the Explosion that took lives of 40 People and left more that 115 injured in the event.

The “Le Constellation” Bar located in Crans Montana in South Western Switzerland was hosting a New Year’s Celebration Party where thousands of people gathered in the event when the tragedy happened.
The incident happened midnight around 1:30 am when the fire broke out in the crowded Bar .The local Police has ruled out the Terror attack possibility and Arson Crime scenarios but they were still investigating on all possible angles .The Cause of the Fire is Still Unknown.
The eye witnesses believe that the fire broke out in the basement area which erupted in a huge ball of fire that was so massive, which engulfed the entire Building.
Police has earlier said that many of the victims were treated for Burns and Local Hospitals were running on Full capacity with all the major Intensive Care Units were almost full. The indentification of the person deceased is a time taking process and it will be premature to give exact number of people who lost their lives and those who are serious injured due to the severity of the Burns.
10 Helicopters and 40 Ambulance were mobilised to handle the situation by the Swiss Authorities.
Italian Foreign Minister also Confirmed that 16 Italians Nationals have been Reported missing while about a dozens more are being treated at the Hospital.
The area has been Completely shut down by the Local Authorities and No Flying Zone has been declared across the Town which is due to Host next Year’s Alpine World Ski Championship.
The Swiss President Guy Parmelin , Postponed the New Year’s Speech after Ski Resort fire and termed the Deadly New Year Fire as One of the worst Tragedies the country has Known.
Some Eye witnesses said ” Birthday Candles on top of Champagne Bottles Set Fire to the Celling which was heavily decorated with flammable materials” , that helped the fire to rapidly engulf the entire Building.
The Resort with maximum Capacity of 300 Persons was filled with thousands has also worsened the situation.
Most of the Victims were feared to be Young People between age Group of 20 to 30.
Mourners gathered on 1st January at the Site where fire broke out with Flowers and Candles to pay tribute to their Loved Ones and for those who have lost their Lives.
