(5th June , 2026) In a yet another saddening blow to BJP in South India , Annamalai quits Bhartiya Janta Party ( BJP ) to form his Own party in the region to contest upcoming general elections by hanging former alliance in the midway. The move has triggered mass resignation by Tamil Nadu BJP Candidates.
Just a Day after his Birthday (4th June) , Annamalai has formally declared his resignation from the BJP candidature and started a whole new political chapter in South Indian politics by launching his own party focused on Tamil youth.
Annamalai launched a political movement and termed this as “A New Path , A New Political Movement” , a war to end Cult and Dynastic politics.
Citing the political view differences with the top leadership since the last 18 months has widened the bonding.
